Changelog

Product updates, improvements, and fixes, newest first.

v1.0.7

Company valuation with DCF 💰

Company Analysis now includes a full valuation module. Launch the valuation wizard and get a discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation built on your model: a free-cash-flow overview, a value bridge waterfall, a sensitivity heatmap across WACC and terminal-value methods, and a full assumptions panel with history, so every number in your valuation is traceable.

Built for big models

Large Market Sizing analyses are now dramatically faster. Value tables, the tree editor, and charts have been optimized for models with thousands of rows and nodes: faster loading, smoother scrolling, and lower memory use. Bulk operations like duplicating a large analysis or writing hundreds of values complete in a fraction of the time.

Redesigned Company Analysis navigation

Company Analysis moved to a cleaner sidebar layout, with sources available on every page and exports right in the sidebar.

Self-serve signup & billing

You can now sign up, create your organization, and subscribe directly in the app. Admins get a billing settings page to manage seats and their subscription; seats stay in sync automatically as team members join or leave.

A more reliable AI assistant

We shipped a set of improvements to how the assistant works with your models: reverting a value now correctly restores the original entry with its history, structural edits are applied more carefully to protect your tree, and the assistant is explicitly warned away from operations that could lose data.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Pin many values at once instead of one at a time

  • The assistant can now write a full round of values in a single operation (previously dozens)

  • Fixed chart formulas in Market Sizing Excel exports

  • Fixed initiatives so they only apply to input values, not computed ones

  • “Last updated” timestamps now update correctly on every type of edit

  • Security updates

v1.0.6

Financial statements in Company Analysis 📊

Company Analysis is now organized around statements. Create named statements (P&L, cash flow, and more), and work on each one with its own values table, tree, charts, and sources. Statements carry through to your Excel export.

Multi-scenario Excel export

Choose which scenarios to include when exporting to Excel and compare them side by side in a single workbook.

Scenario initiatives

Attach initiatives to your scenarios in Company Analysis to document the strategic moves behind each case, visible in the scenarios overview.

Copy charts straight into your deck

Scenario charts across all analysis types now have a copy button that puts the data on your clipboard in think-cell format, so you can paste directly into your PowerPoint charts.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Transfer ownership of an analysis to a teammate

  • All project members can now download Excel exports (previously owners only)

  • Add section headers and separators to the Company Analysis values table with the new layout editor

  • The AI assistant can now rename and reformat many nodes, and write many values, in a single operation; bulk edits are faster and all-or-nothing

  • Smarter source handling by the AI assistant

  • Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links in the account menu

  • Security updates

v1.0.5

Scenarios are here 🎯

Model best case, base case, and everything in between. Scenarios are now available across Market Sizing, Company Analysis, and Competitive Landscape. Create, rename, and compare scenarios from the new Scenarios tab, with values, assumptions, sources, and charts all scenario-aware, and export any scenario to Excel.

Main players vs. others in Competitive Landscape

Distinguish the players that matter from the rest of the field. Move companies between “Main” and “Other” without losing data, and keep detailed assumption work focused on the main players.

Company Analysis table view

Work with your Company Analysis as a configurable table. Design the layout once and it carries through to the values editor and your Excel exports.

More powerful modeling

  • Period-over-period formulas: reference a previous period’s value (e.g. last year) directly in your expressions

  • Swap dimensions: transpose any two dimensions in your Market Sizing tree without affecting your values

  • Edit periods after creation: change an analysis’s time periods at any time

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Archive projects you’re no longer working on

  • New company bar chart and Charts tab in Competitive Landscape, plus a more configurable competitive matrix

  • Jump straight from a company’s revenue row to its profile; browser Back now steps through tabs

  • Redesigned sources sheet in Market Sizing Excel exports and fixed number formats

  • Faster calculations and smoother live updates

  • Stronger input validation and security updates

v1.0.4

Merge segments in Market Sizing

Combine segments in your market tree into one. Nested structures are folded together and your model is restructured automatically. (Values for merged segments need to be re-entered after the merge.)

Driver charts in Excel exports

Market Sizing Excel workbooks now include ready-made driver charts, with refreshed styling and branding.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Source cards now show the URL of each cited source at a glance

  • Distinct colors for each series in driver charts

  • Fixed rare duplicate segments and drivers when making rapid concurrent edits

  • Security updates

v1.0.3

Market Sizing, rebuilt ⚙️

We re-engineered the Market Sizing engine from the ground up. Drivers, variables, and dimensions are now first-class parts of your model with explicit dependencies, making edits safer, values more consistent as your tree evolves, and the AI assistant far more precise when working with your model.

Driver sensitivity analysis

See which assumptions really move your market estimate. The new sensitivity matrix and driver impact chart show how much each driver contributes to the result.

Evolution chart in Company Analysis

Track how any metric develops across periods with the new evolution chart.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Split segments into finer-grained ones

  • Company Analysis trees now display in natural P&L order (Revenue before COGS, Opex, and Taxes), with reworked templates

  • Fixed linked nodes occasionally displaying under the wrong parent

  • The AI assistant creates multiple Competitive Landscape assumptions in one atomic step

  • Fixed base-year handling in Excel exports

  • Improved error monitoring so we catch issues faster

v1.0.2

Export Company Analysis to Excel

Company Analysis joins Market Sizing and Competitive Landscape with full Excel export: cover, values, and sources sheets with live formulas, ready to share or keep building on.

Presentation-ready export tables 📈

Market Sizing Excel exports now include tables built for PowerPoint charts: Mekko tables for every dimension pair (with a year selector that updates the formulas), trend tables showing metric evolution, and waterfall tables for growth decomposition. Go from model to deck without rebuilding data.

Activity log

New Activity pages at the project and analysis level show a history of recent changes. See what changed and when.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Easier navigation in driver value tables: reference cells are highlighted and clickable, jumping you to the related driver table

  • The AI assistant gives better modeling guidance, warning about structures that would weaken your driver tree

  • Fixed an issue with segment filters

  • Copy and layout polish, including sticky columns and indentation in the values table

  • Security updates

v1.0.1

Duplicate any analysis

Create a copy of a Market Sizing, Company Analysis, or Competitive Landscape analysis in one click. Great for exploring variations without touching the original.

Excel export for Competitive Landscape

Download your Revenue Build as a styled Excel workbook, with calculated fields exported as live formulas.

Archive analyses

Archive analyses you no longer need instead of deleting them. They drop out of your default lists but stay recoverable.

A smarter assistant

The AI assistant now checks for existing projects and analyses before creating new ones, asks for your project name up front, applies consistent number formats and units, can look up brands instead of relying on free-typed names, and can reorder Company Analysis nodes into standard P&L order.

Other improvements & bug fixes

  • Improved competitive matrix with axis configuration, grouping, and group colors

  • Cleaner display of units across tree cards and value tables

  • Fixed template selection in Competitive Landscape

  • Renamed and rename-safe dimensions

  • Layout and copy polish across the app
