Connect Aqmen MCP to ChatGPT

Plug ChatGPT into Aqmen's three modules (Market Sizing, Competitive Landscape, and Company Analysis) and store every team conversation in a single system of record for all your CDDs. For workspace admins on Business, Enterprise, and Edu.

Aqmen connects to ChatGPT as a custom MCP app. A workspace admin creates it once using the details below, then publishes it so the whole workspace can use it.

Connector details

Connector name: Aqmen MCP
Remote MCP server URL: https://app.aqmen.ai/mcp
User access: https://app.aqmen.ai/

1. Confirm plan & admin role

Apps and full MCP support are in beta on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu (web only). You must be a workspace Admin or Owner; only admins and owners can enable Developer mode or publish a custom MCP app. Reference: OpenAI Help Center, “Developer mode, apps and full MCP connectors in ChatGPT [beta]”.

2. Turn on Developer mode

From the workspace admin console, go to Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles and toggle on Connected Data: Developer mode / Create custom MCP connectors. Each admin then enables it for themselves at Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced. Enterprise/Edu admins can scope developer access to specific members via RBAC.

3. Create the Aqmen app

Go to Settings → Apps → Create app. In the New App dialog: set Name to Aqmen MCP, paste the MCP Server URL from the panel above, choose Authentication: OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue, and click Create. The app appears under Drafts. Icon and Description are optional. Aqmen MCP servers do not require Advanced OAuth settings.

4. Test, then publish to the workspace

Open the draft, run a quick test chat to confirm the OAuth handshake and tool list, then go to Workspace Settings → Apps → Drafts and click Publish. The app appears in members’ Apps settings labelled custom. Note: on Business plans, apps cannot be edited after publishing. Recreate and republish to update.

5. Use Aqmen inside any chat

Once published, members invoke Aqmen the same way they would any tool: type @Aqmen MCP in the composer, or click the + icon and pick it from the list. Then prompt naturally, for example: “Build a US disposable medical-devices market sizing with a 3-level driver tree.” ChatGPT requests confirmation before any write action and logs the conversation back to your Aqmen workspace. No Developer mode toggle is required for end users; only the admin needed it to publish.
