1. Confirm admin access & plan

Custom remote MCP connectors require Owner or Primary Owner role on Team or Enterprise, or any individual seat on Pro / Max. Enterprise customers using SSO must finish identity setup first.

Reference: Anthropic Help Center, “Getting started with Custom Connectors using Remote MCP” (support.anthropic.com).

2. Open Connector settings

In Claude Web or Desktop, go to Settings → Connectors. Team / Enterprise admins manage org-wide connectors under Settings → Integrations in the Admin console; users add personal ones from the Connectors directory.

Org connectors apply to every member; personal connectors are per-user.

3. Add the Aqmen connector

Scroll to the bottom of the Connectors page and click Add custom connector. Paste the Aqmen MCP details from the panel above, then click Add.

Custom connectors run remotely. There is no local install and no firewall change.

4. Authenticate with Aqmen

Claude opens an OAuth window. Sign in with your Aqmen workspace and approve the tool groups: Market Sizing, Competitive Landscape, and Company Analysis. The connector flips to Connected when done.

Tokens are stored by Anthropic; revoke any time from the same screen.

5. Enable in a chat & verify

Open any conversation, click the + icon in the composer, choose Connectors, and toggle Aqmen MCP on. Claude must explicitly invoke MCP tools, so prompt it directly, for example: “Using Aqmen, build a US disposable medical-devices market sizing with a 3-level driver tree.”

A successful response cites Aqmen sources and logs the conversation to your workspace. For Enterprise: enable the connector in the Admin console first; users will then see it in the + menu without further setup.
